Range: —Central Peru to Bolivia (CO, LP).

Ecology: —Fairly common; epiphytic in humid forests, usually in thick moss mats on thick branches; 1550–2650 m.

Notes: —Specimens with broader segments and more than one vein in each segment have been separated as Peltapteris peruviana L.D.Gómez , but are here considered conspecific with E. moorei . Putative hybrids with E. lloense have been found twice in Bolivia: Kessler 7078, (LPB, NY, UC) and Lehnert 384 (UC). These have irregularly and deeply crenate blade margins and intermediate scale characters Vasco et al. (2013) mentioned a similar specimen from Peru with well-formed spores (Vásquez 30126, MO, USM).
