Range: — Costa Rica to Bolivia (BE, CO, LP, SC) and western Brazil.
Ecology: —Fairly common; hemiepiphytic, climbing high into trees, rarely terrestrial (especially as juveniles), in humid forests; to 1200(–1500) m.
