Material: 1 male with eggs (MNHN­Py 1008), station CP116, NE Coast Taiwan 'Commercial Trawler' TAIWAN 2001, 24º55.4'N 122º00.4'E, 100 m, 21/05/2001; coll. Bouchet, Richer­IRD & Chan.

Remarks: This species has been recorded from Japan and South Korea, at depths between 12 and 230 m. Males have 8 to 11 cement gland pores on the femur.
