Hyperolius phantasticus ( Boulenger 1899) View in CoL

TYPE LOCALITY.— “ Benito River , French Congo”, currently Río Muni, Equatorial Guinea .

DISTRIBUTION.— This species ranges from southwestern Cameroon and Gabon to Democratic Republic of Congo and Republic of Congo. In Equatorial Guinea, it was recorded from Río Muni by Boulenger (1899a) ( Map 18A View MAPS ).

COMMENTS.— Since Boulenger (1899 a, 1900) no specimens of this species have been recorded.

SPECIMENS EXAMINED.— No specimens of this taxon were found in the collections examined by us in this study.
