Coptodryas decepta ( Schedl, 1979) comb. nov.
Arixyleborus deceptus Schedl, 1979: 103 View in CoL .
Remarks. Two specimens have been labelled as the holotype of the species. According to Schedl (1979), the holotype in NHMW was collected on 1.ix.1968. The specimen labeled as holotype in the Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest (seen by RAB) has the same collection data, except collected on 3.ix.1968. This specimen is not mentioned by Schedl (1979), and has no type status. The species has the characteristics of Coptodryas given above for C. brevior and is here transferred to that genus.
Distribution. Papua New Guinea.
