Remarks. The holotype (NHMUK) and a paratype (NUFM) were examined.The species is transferred to Euwallacea Hopkins, 1915 because of the following combination of characters: pronotum subquadrate and sides parallel in dorsal view (type 3); protibiae distinctly triangular with four very large socketed denticles; posterolateral margin of elytra costate; pronotal disc alutaceous; elytral declivity sparsely setose; scutellum flush with elytra and flat; and mycangial tufts absent.
Distribution. Indonesia. (Imported to Japan).
