Remarks. Schedl (1970) and Wood (1989) both considered X. perakensis to be a synonym of Euwallacea wallacei . Wood (1989) also placed X. siporanus in synonymy with E. wallacei which Smith et al. (2020b) recognized as a distinct species. Images of the holotype of X. siporanus (NMNH) were compared to the lectotype of X. perakensis (NHMW) and were found to be conspecific.
Distribution. ‘Borneo’, East & West Malaysia, Indonesia (Sumatra), Myanmar.
