Acizzia alternata was known from just seven sites: Bucca, Lower Bucca, Repton, Mylestom, Bellingen, Valla Beach and Macksville, and represented a linear coastal to subcoastal distribution about 70 km long and no more than 15 km inland near Coffs Harbour on the north coast of New South Wales (Kent & Taylor 2010). The new material collected from four additional sites extends the distribution north another 90 km to between Glenn Innes and Grafton and south 12 km to Eungai. This now gives A. alternata a distribution 145 km long and inland 85 km at the most northerly record. The Australian distribution of A. alternata and its host is presented in Figs 12–13 View FIGURES 12 – 14 .
