Photomorphina Schuster, 1958 (as subgenus of Photomorphus Viereck, 1903 ). Ent. Amer. (N.S.) 37: 8 (in key); 39 (description).

Type species. Photomorphus ( Photomorphina) quadriangulatus Schuster, 1958 (male), by original designation (misspelled as quadriangulata).

Taxonomic history. Objectively invalid name: junior homonym of Photomorphina Schuster, 1952. (Junior subjective synonym of Photomorphina Schuster, 1952 according to Krombein, 1967: 327.)
