Amphicnaeia lineolata Galileo & Martins, 2011 View in CoL
( Fig. 8 View FIGURES 1–10. 1 )
Material examined. BRAZIL, Rondônia (new state record): 62 km SW Ariquemes, 1 male, 6–12.X.1993, C.W. & L. O’Brien col. ( DHCO).
This species was described based on a single female from Brazil (Pará), currently deposited at the INPA (see photograph of the holotype at Bezark 2020). Although the male examined by us has the yellowish pubescent elytral band paler and gradually disappearing just after the basal third, we were not able to find other morphological differences. In the holotype, this band is more yellow and almost reaches the apex, but is fragmented just after the middle. We are considering this as a variation.
