Material examined. 1 male and 1 female ( HIST) , China: Guangxi, Guilin City, Multinational Autonomous County of Longsheng, Huaping National Nature Reserve , 25°38'24" N, 109°54'0" E, 469 m, 2008.V.1, Cai WZ ; 2 males and 1 female (HIST), Guangxi, Guilin City, Lingui County, Huaping National Nature Reserve, Anjiangping Station, 25°33'43" N, 109°56'16" E, 1331 m, 2020.V.3, light trap, Tan MC.

Distribution. China (Guangdong, Guangxi and Jiangxi).

Remarks. This species was originally studied by Yang & Yang (1990a) from Jinggangshan Mountain of Jiangxi Province. Zhao et al. (2019) recently redescribed this species from Guangdong Province with color illustrations of the male. This species is reported from Guangxi for the first time. Our specimens agree well with the descriptions and figures provided by Yang & Yang (1990a) and Zhao et al. (2019). The vaginal sclerite of Styloperla seems to have a specific shape, compare Fig. 39 with fig. 13 in Zhao et al. 2019, depicting S. starki Zhao, Huo & Du, 2019 .
