Type locality. Buenavista, Tenerife, Canary Islands.
Holotype: 1„ [gen. 26] [Buenavista/14-4-50/C. González] [Sous pierres] [Buenavista] [Type] [ Laparocerus / transversus H.Lind. / subsp. buenavistae nov./A. Roudier det]. MNHN (Coll. Générale), Paris.
Remarks. The holotype is deposited in Paris and not in the Coll. C. González (Madrid) as published by Roudier (1957a).
