Holepyris turrialbae Evans, 1977

This species was known only from Costa Rica. Now it is recorded for the first time from Brazil (Amapá, Pará and Paraná).

Diagnosis. Mandibles with two small apical teeth; third antennal segment 1.2 X as long as wide; WH 0.84–0.85 X LH; WF 0.84–0.96 X HE; anterior angle of ocellar triangle acute; pronotal disc 1.3–1.6 X as wide as long; propodeal disc 0.90–1.0 X as wide as long, with five strong carinae; front femora 2.20–2.35 X as long as wide.

Variation. Body length from 2.44 to 2.92 mm; mandibles and clypeus dark brown; wings hyaline.
