Type locality. Kiangsu province, SooChow (now China: Jiangsu, Suzhou ) ( Type & Allotype); Shanghai (Paratype) .

Notes. This species has long been as a synonym of Sinochlora szechwanensis , but the characteristics of the male subgenital plate and the tenth abdominal tergum are different from those of S. szechwanensis (see Tinkham, 1945). Considering the differences in geographical distribution, this should be treated as a valid species.

Distribution. China: Jiangsu.
