Type locality. Japan: Honshu , Yamaguchi .

Notes. Although this species is widely documented throughout southern China, specimens from China have a shorter subgenital plate and a broader tenth abdominal tergum, which are different from Japanese specimens. Considering the differences in geographical distribution, the record of this species in southern China needs to be reevaluated.
