Differential diagnosis. Similar to O. picturatum in body size, pattern, and shape of apex of aedeagus, but differ in having less protruding humeri, metacoxa with a single seta, and especially an endophallus with two large groups of large spines.

Reescription. Body length 5.53–6.52 mm; width 5.37– 4.42 mm. Habitus (Figs. 62–64).

Color: head, pronotum and elytra rufopiceous, legs and antennae brownish yellow. Mandibles brown, their apical part dark brown, almost black. Venter rufopiceous. Dark pattern on elytra, pronotum, and head dark green.

Head fairly flat, faintly wrinkled, coarsely punctate on vertex and near eyes, smooth on frons, with several coarse punctures near the border with the clypeus. Subocular ridge well developed, curved upwards and slightly rounded. Pale pattern on head V-shaped and well-developed. Clypeus slightly convex and bisetose. Labrum with moderately rounded sides and six setae, anterior margin of labrum bisinuate. Antennal scape unisetose at apex, antennomeres 3 and 4 smooth, only with some longer setae around the apex, 5–11 pubescent. Gula nearly smooth, gena coarsely punctate and wrinkled near eyes. HW: 1.85–2.07 mm.

Pronotum (PL: 1.42–1.59 mm, PW: 2.81–3.36 mm.) moderately convex, base bisinuate on each side, sides unevenly rounded, with narrow border. Dark pattern of pronotum broad, well developed on base and disc, obsolete laterally and at apex. Anterior angles strongly raised anteriorly. Pronotum coarsely and evenly punctate. Median impression shallow, weakly developed. Prosternum and proepisternum coarsely but sparsely and unevenly punctate, proepipleura smooth.

Elytra (EL: 3.52–4.28 mm, EW: 5.37– 4.42 mm.) moderately convex, ovate, with narrow border. Elytral dark pattern with distinct boundaries, consisting of three transverse bands. Form of elytral pattern varied: apical band joined with median band and median band joined with the basal band on the tenth interstria in some specimens. Elytra with 15 striae. Striae deep, distinctly punctate, punctures broad and deep. Intervals weakly convex on the disc, moderately convex laterally.

Venter ( Fig. 80 View FIGURES 79–80 ). Mesepisternum smooth. Metasternum, metepisternum and metepimeron coarsely but sparsely and unevenly punctate, elytral epipleura smooth. Ventrites smooth, bisetose. Metacoxa with one seta, otherwise smooth in most specimens, with 1–2 asymetrically-placed punctures in a few specimens.

Aedeagus ( Fig. 84–85 View FIGURES 84–85 ). Median lobe relatively short and robust, ventral side very slightly arcuate at mid length, apical quarter of lobe slightly downturned. Apex almost straight in lateral view. Apical lamella in dorsal view acute, sides straight and convergent to the narrowly rounded tip. Endophallus with two large, elongate groups of long spines ( Figs. 84–85 View FIGURES 84–85 ).

Distribution. Angola, Botswana, Namibia (Map. 5).
