Type material: Holotype male, CHINA: Yunnan Province, Gongshan County, Gaoligong Mountains Nature Reserve, 1500–1600m, Dandang Park, 27º43’N, 98º39’E, 3 May 2004, Z. Z. Yang leg. ( MHBU). Paratypes: two females and one male, same data as holotype ( MHBU); six females and three males, same data as holotype ( CDLC).

Additional material examined: Three males, CHINA: Yunnan Province, Yingjiang County, Gangmeng Town, 24º40’N, 97º59’E, 1050 m, 16 May 2004, Z. Z. Yang, leg. ( MHBU).

Diagnosis: The new species differs from S. kohi ( Ono 1995: 163, figs 8–15) and S. zhengi ( Song & Zhu 1997: 29, figs 13A–F) by the following combination of characters: RTA large, combined with VTA basally; spermathecae distinctly reniform; chelicerae of both sexes with three promarginal and four retromarginal teeth respectively.

Etymology: The specific name refers to the type locality and is a noun in apposition.

Clypeus furnished with five long spiniform setae, height equal to the diameter of PLE, yellowish brown. Chelicerae brown, rather small and narrow, with scopulae on both margins of fang furrow; three promarginal teeth, of these the proximal one largest, and four retromarginal teeth with the distal one largest ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 1 – 6 ).
