Remarks. Outwardly, this species is close to Oculapalochrus ranuensis (Wittmer) , but differs in its smaller size, c. 2.5–2.8 mm. Its large eyes and simple legs and, probably, simple metathorax, will probably mean transferring the species to the genus Oculpalaochrus.
