Type species: Asulconotoides sichuanensis Liu, 1984 , by monotypy and original designation.

Diagnosis. Size small. Head shorter than pronotum; fastigium triangular, dorsum weakly depressed with median carina; fastigial foveolae absent; antennae stubby. Pronotum with anterior margin straight, posterior margin nearly straight with a small notch in middle; median and lateral carinae distinct, lateral carinae faintly incurved; hind transverse sulcus absent or obsolete. Prosternum between front legs flat; metasterum with lateral lobes separated from each other. Tegmen abbreviated in male, touching each other in mid dorsal line, apex rounded; narrow scalelike in female, lateral. Tympanum developed. The stridulatory pegs on the internal side of hind femur present. Male 10 th abdominal tergite with or without furcula. Epiproct triangular. Cerci long conical. Subgenital plate conical. Valves of ovipositor narrow, with or without teeth along margins.

Composition and distribution: A single species, Asulconotoides sichuanensis Liu, 1984 was originally assigned to the genus Asulconotoides . In this paper two species are transfer to Asulonotoides, i.e. Asulconotoides asulcata ( Zheng, 1988) comb. nov. = Leuconemacris asulcata Zheng, 1988 and Asulconotoides microptera ( Zheng, 1988) , comb. nov. = Leuconemacris microptera Zheng, 1988 , owing to lack of hind transverse sulcus on dorsum of pronotum. Thus, there are currently three species in this genus, mainly distributed in western Sichuan, China.
