Geographical distribution. Brazil (Bahia to Rio Grande do Sul), Paraguay, Argentina (Misiones). Zajciw (1962a) recorded this species from Brazil (Bahia) and Paraguay.

A. Monné & C. A. C. Seabra leg.); Floresta da Tijuca, male, I.1961 (C. A. C. Seabra leg.); Itatiaia, female, 1.XI.1947 (H. Zellibor leg.); São Paulo: Peruibe, male, 7.III.1938 (H.
