Distribution: Neotropical ( Brazil, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, Peru).

Hosts: Pachylia ficus (Linnaeus, 1758) ; Pachylia syces (Hübner, 1822) ; Pachylioides resumens (Walker, 1856) ( Lepidoptera : Sphingidae ).

Habitat: Coastal dune scrubland, dry forest.

Phenology: June, August–October.
