Note. The species was described on material from the Val Asnina cave in Val Seriana (cadastrial number not provided), province of Bergamo ( Pesarini, 1988a) at an altitude of about 400 m. This species is now found both at lower (see also records of the Sebino area by Pantini, 2000) and at higher altitudes (1850–2050 m in the Arera massif, Central Lombardian Prealps).
