D i a g n o s i s: Mostly black, each elytron with 4 yellow maculae.
D e s c r i p t i o n: Size: Length 6.0 mm; width 1.0 mm. Form: As in Fig. 28 View Figs 25-28 . Head: Antenna slightly longer than width across eyes; capitulum slightly acuminate; (EW/FW 20/55). Thorax: Pronotal and elytral discs finely punctate; (PL/PW 110/110); (EL/EW 250/60). Abdomen: Aedeagus ( Fig. 84 View Figs 83-91 ).
E t y m o l o g y: The species name, itajura, constitutes a noun in apposition and refers to the type locality.
