Pseudothyas trabecula Thor, 1899

Species incerta

Discussion: Since its first description, this taxon has not been found or discussed again. As the original description, based on a single specimen from Norway, is extremely scanty, and the holotype is lost, no redefinition of this taxon is possible and it must be considered a species incerta . The character giving origin to the species name, a narrow transverse sclerotized bar located posterior to the lateral eyes has not been found again in euthyadine mites. Most probably, Thor (1899) was dealing with a misshapen specimen. The identity of the taxon is uncertain.
