Material examined: Holotype Ƥ, SMF 7194, France, Massiv du Pelvoux, Villar d'Arene, 16.09.1952 Vaillant.

Discussion: This species was described without any discussion of diagnostic features from a single female collected in the French Alps ( K. Viets 1952). Large dimensions, slender genital plates (obviously the name-origin for T. procerivalvata ) suggest an affinity to species of the elliptica -group, to which the specimen is similar also in details of idiosomal and gnathosomal morphology. As, based on a single female, in this group no certain species-attribution is possible, we consider T. procerivalvata a species incerta .
