Material examined. Holotype: female, RUSSIA, Zabaykalsky Krai [Chita Region]: Nizhniy Tsasuchey , 25.vii.1990, leg. A. Kotenko (deposited in: SIZK).
Diagnosis. Exochus antennalis is characterized by the combination of the following characters: face not strongly swollen; malar space, clypeus and face yellow; frons along eye orbits yellow, not reaching the level of the apical ocellus; yellow mark opposite to lateral ocelli not elongated; clypeus with apical margin straight; occipital carina present dorsally; mesosoma black except upper hind corner of pronotum, scutellum and postscutellum apically yellow; propodeum with area superomedia closed apically, costulae absent, area dentipara pubescent only along margins; fore wing with vein cu-a strongly distad of Rs&M by about 0.4 of own length; third laterotergite more-orless rounded from the proximal end; legs generally reddish except coxae and trochanters fuscous (except fore coxae apically); hind tibia reddish, with a weakly defined subbasal yellowish ring, narrowly fuscous basally and apically.
Distribution. Currently known from Russia (Zabaykalsky Krai) and Ukraine (Odesa Region) ( Tolkanitz 2007a).
Remarks. According to the key of Tolkanitz (2007a) this species has yellowish-orange, weakly darkened apically hind tibia. After examination of the holotype it was found that hind tibia are orange, with a weakly defined subbasal yellowish ring, but narrowly fuscous apically AND basally.
