Material examined. Holotype: female, MOLDOVA, Strasheny District : Panasheshty, apple tree, ex Ancylis selenana Gn. , 6.viii.1979, leg. V. Kuslitskiy (deposited in: SIZK).

Diagnosis. Exochus selenanae is similar to E. gratus , but has narrower temples, more abundant yellow colouration of body, and whitish basally and fuscous apically hind tibia.

Distribution. Currently known from Moldova, Russia (Amur Region), Ukraine ( Tolkanitz 2007b).
