Range: — Colombia to Venezuela and Bolivia (CO, LP).

Ecology: —Fairly common, epiphytic in dense moss mats, less commonly saxicolous in rock crevices, in humid forests; 2550–3450 m.

Notes: —This species has often been subsumed under Stenogrammitis myosuroides (Sw.) Labiak , but was segregated by Labiak (2011). In Bolivia, it is most similar to Cochlidium serrulatum , from which it differs by bearing scattered castaneous hairs on petioles and rachises, more deeply incised sterile blade portions, shorter (1–2 mm vs. 1.5–2.5 mm) and narrower rhizome scales, and darker, more broadly spreading veins in the fertile blade portions.
