= Terpsichore praeceps Sundue & M.Kessler, Organisms Diversity Evol. View in CoL 8(2): 164. 2008.
Range: —Endemic to Bolivia (LP).
Ecology: —Rare, known only from the type and two other recent collections; saxicolous on roadside cliffs, in wet montane forests; 2700–2900 m.
Notes: —Differs from M. amphidasyon and other members of the genus by the combination of setose rhizome scales <1.5 mm long, densely setose petioles with setae to 3.5 mm long, fertile leaves <9 cm long, narrow blades with pinnae only 8–13 mm long, 5–6 pairs of veins per pinna, and hydathodes capped with lime dots. In contrast to other species in the genus, ascomes have not yet been seen on either of the specimens studied.
