Range: — Bolivia (CO, LP, SC), southeastern Brazil.
Ecology: —Relatively common; epiphytic in wet montane forests and cloud forests; 2500–3400 m.
Notes: —Distinctive in having a whitish layer abaxially that obscures the costae. The chemical nature of this layer is unknown but turns yellow when dried and dissolves when the plant is treated with alcohol.
