Range: — Costa Rica and Panama; Haiti; Colombia to Venezuela and Bolivia (LP).
Ecology: —Rare, known from a single Bolivian collection: Jiménez 1808 (LPB, UC); pendent epiphyte, rarely saxicolous, in humid forests; 3700 m, 2200–4000 m elsewhere.
Notes: —Distinct from other Bolivian grammitids by the rhizome scales, petioles, rachises, and blade surfaces densely puberulent with tubular, glandular hairs, lacking setae. The blades vary from 1-pinnate to 1-pinnate-pinnatifid.
