Range: — Mexico to Bolivia (BE, CH, CO, LP, SC, TA) and Brazil.

Ecology: —Uncommon; epiphytic and saxicolous in humid forests; 250–1700 m.

Notes: — Pecluma divaricata has larger fronds, fewer blade hairs, and usually denser rachis and costal hairs, leading to a much stronger contrast in hair density than in P. hygrometrica .
