Range: —Southern Bolivia (SC), Brazil.
Ecology: — Rare, known from a single Bolivian collection (Wood 16468, UC, annotated by Assis, 2014); terrestrial in dry forests; 550 m.
Notes: —Seemingly closely related to P. pectinata , in Bolivia occupying a similar range and elevation, but with much longer, more numerous hairs on both blade surfaces, as well as on the sporangia, and more numerous, gradually reduced proximal pinnae.
