= Polypodium curvans Mett., Ann. Sci. Nat., Bot. View in CoL , sér. 5, 2: 253. 1864.
Range: — Ecuador to Bolivia (LP).
Ecology: —Locally uncommon; epiphytic, saxicolous, rarely terrestrial in semihumid forests and scrub; 3000– 3500 m.
Notes: —May be confused with P. choquetangensis , which has more deeply incised pinnae, and P. absidata , which has broader, less strongly ascending segments, rachis hairs <0.5 mm long, and fully expanded blades at maturity. Like P. choquetangensis , P. curvans may also be confused with some large grammitids, particularly species of Terpsichore or Mycopteris .
