= Polypodium serpentinum Christ, Bull. Herb. Boissier View in CoL , sér. 2, 6: 51. 1906.
Range: —Antilles; southern Mexico to Bolivia (LP, SC).
Ecology: —Uncommon epiphyte in lower montane forests; 700–1900 m.
Notes: —This species was treated as a synonym of C. fasciale (Willd.) C.Presl by León in Tryon & Stolze (1993), but we now believe that species, type from eastern Venezuela, is synonymous with C. repens . Campyloneurum serpentinum is closely related to C. repens , differing by having narrower blades, rhizome scales with undifferentiated margins at the center.
