Current status. Valid as Solenopsis jalalabadica Pisarski, 1970 ( BOLTON 2016).

Remarks. According to the original description, the holotype and 105 paratypes should have been deposited in MMBC and 41 paratypes in the Institute of Zoology of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw. Additional 47 ♀♀ in MMBC are labelled as paratypes but were not explicitly listed in the original description. These specimens were collected at the same site and on the same date as the female paratypes listed above:
