Doll (1978: 642):—Listed from Bulgaria without locality specification.

Herbarium voucher specimen:—There is a single herbarium sheet under the name T. aequilobiforme in the Doll’s Bulgarian collection, with seven leaf rosettes (outer phyllaries, florets and achenes relatively acceptably developed and preserved).

Interpretation:—The plants belong to the group of Taraxacum pirinicum , described below, but are not identical with the latter species. Taraxacum aequilobiforme can be struck out from the checklist of the Bulgarian flora with certainty.
