Material examined. Sala de la Palmera: two specimens in ethyl alcohol, over flowstones, AT 17.8, ST 16 and 78% of RH, 2.II .2013 (Co 020213 -3 and Co 020213 -4) (deposited in MZNA); two specimens in ethyl alcohol, over flowstones, AT 16.5, ST 17 and 85.5% of RH, 2.XI.2013 (Co 021113 -2 and Co 021113 -3) (deposited in MBCN); six specimens (two on slides and four in ethyl alcohol), over flowstones, TA 15.6 , ST 14.6 and 52% of RH, 16.II .2013 , (Co 160213 -1 and Co 160213 -2) (one slide deposited in MZNA, the remaining in MBCN); one specimen in ethyl alcohol, over flowstones, AT 22.17, ST 19.2 and 77.13 of RH, 5.X.2013 (Co 051013 -3) (deposited in MBCN). All material M. Vadell leg.

This species has been found on Pazariste cave in Yugoslavia (type locality), Nerja cave ( Spain) and in some caves of Portugal and Romania (Jordana 2012) and this is the first record for the island of Mallorca.
