Genus Brachychaetosoma View in CoL gen. nov.

Diagnosis. Differs from the other Caucasian anthroleucosomatids by very short macrochaetae on pleurotergites, by characteristic anterior gonopods with an anterior, unpaired, bifurcated process, by the unique processes on male leg-pair 7, as well as by the presence of two coxal processes on male leg-pair 10.

Etymology. To emphasize the very short macrochaetae on most of pleurotergites. The name is a neuter noun.

Distribution. Abkhazia (known only from Cave Marshania, near Otap) ( Fig. 168 View FIGURE 168 , green triangle).

Type species. Brachychaetosoma turbanovi gen. et sp. nov., by present designation.
