Remarks. For complete bibliography see Monné (2016). Coleoxestia pubicornis was described based on four specimens (males and females) from Brazil (Goiás). According to Monné (2016), the species occurs in Brazil (Goiás, Mato Grosso do Sul, Pernambuco, Bahia, Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Paraná, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul), and Bolivia (Santa Cruz). We examined a specimen from Peru (new country record).

Material examined. PERU, San Martin: Moyobamba (vic. Hospedaje Ecologico “Rumipata”, 06º04’32.0”S / 76º58’07.5”W, 970 m), 1 male, 13–18.X.2012, J. E. Eger ( RFMC).
