Austria ( Fischer 1980; Fischer and Koponen 1999; Yu et al. 2012), Bulgaria, Lithuania, Serbia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan ( Yu et al. 2012), Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Switzerland, former Yugoslavia ( Fischer and Koponen 1999; Yu et al. 2012), England ( Fischer and Koponen 1999; Broad et al. 2012; Yu et al. 2012), Germany ( Fischer and Koponen 1999; Belokobylskij et al. 2003; Yu et al. 2012), Mongolia ( Fischer and Koponen 1999; Papp 2009; Lelej 2012; Yu et al. 2012), Russia ( Fischer and Koponen 1999; Tobias 2000; Lelej 2012; Yu et al. 2012), Sweden ( Thomson 1895 as Opius blandus ; Fischer and Koponen 1999; Yu et al. 2012), Turkey (Beyarslan and Fischer 2011, 2013; Yu et al. 2012; Beyarslan 2015).

Host records. In Finland, it is reported from Pegomya sp. ( Diptera : Anthomyiidae ) on Beta vulgaris L. ( Fischer and Koponen 1999). Yu et al. (2012) also reported Agromyza spp. ( Diptera : Agromyzidae ) as host.
