Notomicrus sharpi Balfour-Browne, 1939 , New State Record

This species is recorded from the Nearctic region (Florida, USA) and Neotropical region in Bahamas, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, Puerto Rico, British Virgin Islands and Guadeloupe archipelago ( Nilsson 2011; Manuel 2015). In Mexico, it is known from Oaxaca, San Luis Potos´ı, and Tamaulipas (Arce-Perez and Roughley 1999).

Material Examined. 30-VII-1997, SM (1); 28-VIII-1997, SW (2); 21-IX-1997, SW (2); 7-XII- 1997, SW (1). Also, Actopan, La Mancha Ecological Reserve ( INECOL), 30-V- 2002 in water lettuce ( Pistia stratiotes L., Araceae ), L. Cervantes col. 1 6 ( IEXA).
