Distribution in Iran. Guilan ( Linnavuori 2007).

General distribution. Known from Caucasus and Central Europe.

Comments. A questionable species which can be separated from K. resedae only by its biology. K. privignus lives only on Alnus sp, but the host plants of K. resedae are more varied (see Péricart 1998a).
