Distribution in Iran. Guilan ( Linnavuori 2007), Hormozgan ( Wagner 1968; Linnavuori 2004), Khorasan ( Modarres Awal 1996b), Sistan & Baluchestan ( Seidenstücker 1957; Farahbakhsh 1961; Modarres Awal 1997b), Tehran (Hoberlandt 1954), Iran (no locality cited) ( Horváth 1889).

General distribution. Holomediterranean (sporadic in Spain, Italy, Greece, not in France), extending widely to the Middle East, China, the Oriental region, and Tropical Africa.
