Distribution in Iran. Ardabil, Guilan, Tehran ( Linnavuori 2007), East Azarbaijan ( Ghahari et al. 2010c).

General distribution. Holomediterranean, extending to Central Europe, Middle East, Middle Asia, and China.

Comments. In mountain meadows on Lamiaceae , especially Thymus sp. ( Linnavuori 2007).
