Redescription. Mesopleuron ( Fig. 153 View FIGURES 153–156 ) dark brown to black, mostly brown pruinose, except anepisternum grey pruinose anterodorsally; katatergite and anatergite grey pruinose. mediotergite brown pruinose. Legs ( Figs 153– 154 View FIGURES 153–156 ) dark brown to black, except apices of trochanters, extreme apices of femora and bases of tibiae yellow; femora with grey pruinescence on the posterior face. Wing ( Fig. 154–155 View FIGURES 153–156 ). Length 7.8 mm. LW/MWW = 3.5. LTC/LFC = 1.6. Membrane mostly hyaline except by basal third darkened. Abdomen ( Figs 153–154 View FIGURES 153–156 ). Dark brown to black with brown pruinescence, except tergite 1 and tergites 3–5 with interrupted bands of grey pruinescence posteriorly. Tergite 6 and sternites 6 and 7 as in Fig. 157 View FIGURES 157–167 . Terminalia. Syntergosternite 8 with a large membranous area ( Fig. 158 View FIGURES 157–167 ). Epandrium yellowish brown, very inflated. Surstyli ( Fig. 159 View FIGURES 157–167 ) yellowish brown, symmetric and fused with epandrium, with rounded apex, elongated ventrally ( Figs 160–161 View FIGURES 157–167 ). Phallic guide ( Figs 163–165 View FIGURES 157–167 ) long and curved, base distinctly expanded dorsally with apex elongated in lateral view ( Fig. 165 View FIGURES 157–167 ), about 1.6× hypandrium length. Basal processes of phallus large and pointed, surpassing posterior margin of hypandrium ( Fig. 163 View FIGURES 157–167 ). Phallus ( Figs 165–166 View FIGURES 157–167 ) with large pointed projections apically. Ejaculatory apodeme as in Fig. 167 View FIGURES 157–167 .

Holotype condition. Antennae lost. Right eye slightly damaged. Right wing mounted in a microslide with balsam. Terminalia placed in a microvial with glycerin, both pinned upon the pin with the specimen.
Geographical distribution. Brazil: Amazonas, Pará ( Fig. 183 View FIGURES 183 ).
Habitat. This species is found in the Brazilian Amazon rainforest, collected with Malaise trap at ground level.
