Material examined. KSA: ASIR: Abha, Raidah, vi.2011, (MT), Coll. Z. Ahmad (1 ♀, on slide, EH.1498) ( ZDAMU).

Comments. In the keys to species of Prionomastix Mayr , given by Annecke (1962) and Trjapitzin & Ruíz- Cancino (1998), the Saudi specimen runs to P. morio (Dalman) and P. capeneri Annecke , in having the head and mesosoma largely brownish yellow to yellowish brown, but differs from P. morio in having the antennal segments beyond F3 quadrate to broader than long ( Fig. 122 View FIGURES 122 – 124 ), and in having the fore wing hyaline in about apical fourth ( Fig. 124 View FIGURES 122 – 124 ). It differs from P. capeneri in having F1 slightly longer than pedicel, funicle segments beyond F3 quadrate to broader than long, and clava with sutures strongly oblique, much as in P. m ori o, and apical fourth of fore wing hyaline. It resembles P. congoensis Risbec (as noted from Annecke 1962), in antennal characters, oblique claval sutures, and the hyaline apex of the fore wing, but the mesosoma in P. congoensis is predominantly dark brown to black. The head with mandibles is illustrated ( Fig. 123 View FIGURES 122 – 124 ). The Saudi specimen appears to be different from all the species described from Costa Rica by Noyes (2010).

There is no doubt that the Saudi specimen belongs to an undescribed species, but is not described pending collection of more specimens.
