Key to species of Guitonia Garth & Iliffe, 1992 View in CoL

1. Anterolateral margin with narrow, spiniform teeth. Anterior regions of carapace with weak rows of basally fused granules. Corneas, eyestalks well developed ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 D). Area lateral to orbits without granular ridges, without small, depressed area .......................................................................................................................... Guitonia paulayi View in CoL n. sp.

- Anterolateral margin with well produced, broad teeth. Anterior regions of carapace with weak, almost indiscernible rows of granules, or with prominent, basally-fused rows. Corneas, eyestalks reduced ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 B, F). Area lateral to orbits with 2 granular ridges linking at level of exorbital angle, first anterolateral tooth, enclosing small, depressed area .............................................................................................................................................................................. 2

2. Anterolateral teeth low, relatively broadly triangular. Anterior regions of carapace with distinct separate granules that may be fused in parts but not forming distinct transverse rows. Corneas, eyestalks reduced. Major chela with large subproximal tooth on dactylus. Outer surface of dactylus, fixed finger of minor chela granulated. Distal end of merus of fourth ambulatory leg relatively long, almost reaching last anterolateral tooth when apposed against cara-

pace ............................................................................................................................................... Guitonia troglophila View in CoL - Anterolateral teeth subtriangular, tips pointing anteriorly. Anterior regions of carapace with prominent, basallyfused, transverse rows of pearliform granules. Corneas, eyestalks greatly reduced. Dactylus of major chela without modified basal cutting tooth. Outer surface of dactylus, fixed finger of minor chela smooth. Distal end of merus of fourth ambulatory leg relatively shorter, not reaching last anterolateral tooth when apposed against carapace ........... .................................................................................................................................................
