Spilomena indostana Turner 1918: 358 , Holotype or syntypes: ♀, India: Maharashtra (BMNH). Digital images of the Type examined. Additional citation: Bohart and Menke, 1976: 193 (in checklist of world Sphecidae ).

Diagnosis. Female. Inner mandibular tooth broad and blunt; clypeus conspicuously convex medially; propodeum rugose.

Male. Unknown.

Distribution. India: Maharashtra ( Turner 1918)

Note. No additional materials were available during the present study. The above diagnosis is based on the original description ( Turner 1918) and digital images of the type obtained from BMNH .
