Specimens examined. Specimens deposited in NSMT: one female from type locality, NSMT – Ap 5, Asakawa , Tokyo, 13-X-1966, K. Niijima leg; one male, same locality, 28-VI-1971, G. Imadaté leg. (0176a 3-57 in Imadaté’s Proturan Collection) .
Other specimens recorded. This species are collected from many localities in northern Honshu, hence those records are omitted.
Additions to description. On head, setae aa, pa and m4 present, sensilla as and ps present ( Fig. 12A); seta sp 1.4 times longer than p; sensilla pp rudimentary. Seta rs inflated, shorter than sr ( Fig. 12B). On maxillary palpus ( Fig. 12C) sensillum md longer than ml. On galea ( Fig. 12D) digit O loner than M and I, M and I similar to each other in shape and length. Mandible with two apical and one subapical teeth ( Fig. 12E). On hind tarsus D2 and D4 spine-like. Central lobe incised ( Fig. 12F). Laterostigmata II–IV large, without inner structure; those on V – VI small. On abdominal tergite VIII ( Fig. 12G) P1a' without basal dilatation; P2a linear.
